How Our Service Works

Hours of availability
Webteachers.com provides a 24x7 teaching service. Teachers are available around the clock though a customer might not always get a teaching session when they need due to unavailability of teachers for their subject at the specific time or due to technology problems or during a site maintenance window.
Academic Quality
Webteachers.com tries to ensure adherence to national and local curricula and standards,
however this is not a guarantee. Webteachers.com teachers are certified to teach their
respective subjects.
Technology
Webteachers.com uses proprietary, licensed third-party technologies and free technology products. While all attempts are made to ensure stability and availability of technologies used by Webteachers.com, the company cannot guarantee uptime. You are solely responsible for all service, telephony and/or other fees and costs associated with your access to and use of the services and for obtaining and maintaining all telephone, computer hardware and other equipment required for such access and use.
Teachers
Through our Services, site and Software, we enable users to connect with independent contractor teachers ("Teachers") who provide live, one-to-one instruction, tutoring and learning services in our online classrooms (Teaching Sessions). The Services include, without limitation, keeping track of users' favorite teachers, smart-matching users with the best available
teachers, facilitating and hosting Teaching Sessions, and taking feedback from users.
Account Access; Identity Protection
In order to provide you with ease of access to your account, Webteachers.com will place a cookie (a small text file) on any computer from which you access the Webteachers.com web site. This cookie is used to identify you throughout the Webteachers.com web site. This cookie will be destroyed when you close the browser or logout of the Webteachers.com web site. You are responsible for updating and maintaining the truth and accuracy of the information you provide to us relating to your account. You are also responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and password and for restricting access to your computer or mobile device. Membership and Billing
You can find the specific details regarding your subscription with Webteachers.com at anytime by clicking on the "My Account" link, located at the top of the pages of the Webteachers.com web site after you login.
Free Live Teaching (Trial)/Free Trial
We encourage the use of our service through free trial. Free trial is only available to first time customers of the Webteachers.com service and cannot be combined with any other offer. Only one free trial may be redeemed per household. You must have internet access to use the free trial offer. Upon registering for your free trial, a Webteachers.com teacher or a customer service representative may chat with you and try to help you out with your questions and you will be able to start a live one-on-one teaching session.
At the end of the free trial period, wherever applicable the customer may be automatically enrolled in the monthly subscription, unless the customer has notified Webteachers.com that he/she intends to cancel prior to the end of the free trial period.
Purchase, Payment and Billing
When you purchase minutes, we add them to your Account. When you finish a teaching session, we deduct the time you spent with the teacher from your account balance. You only pay for the time you use. You'll be able to connect to one of our professional teacher in Math, English, or Science, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
Webteachers.com accepts the following forms of payment: Visa, MasterCard, and PayPal.
Your credit card will be charged on the date that you make your purchase at our web site or by telephone with one of our representatives. (Please do not email us your credit card number at any time for a purchase, as email is not secure and your credit card number could be intercepted by third parties who read your email as it travels through the Internet from your computer to our computers.) We will not bill your credit card again unless and until you make an additional purchase or if you are enrolled in a monthly plan where you will be charged automatically every month (You will be charged every 30 days from the day your first charge was made for the monthly package). When the time in your account expires you will need to make another purchase to continue connecting to teachers.
Cancellation
You may cancel your subscription to Webteachers.com at anytime, and cancellation will be effective immediately. To cancel, you may get in touch with customer service
at 1- 800-959-2733. There are no refunds.
Pricing
Webteachers.com reserves the right to change prices without advance notice and to offer promotions periodically to certain group of customers and thus not available to all customers.
Website Content
We distribute subject content, and other animations and we reserve the right to display and promote the content or other information on our web site to you in any manner we choose in our sole and absolute discretion. In addition, the Webteachers.com web site allows you and other third parties to post comments, give feedback concerning the services offered, by our teachers, and subject content distributed by us.

You agree that you will not solicit any personal information from any teacher, and agree that if any teacher ever discloses such information to you, asks you for any personal information, or suggests any offline meeting or conversation, you agree to immediately report this to us by phone and in writing.
Limitations on Use
You must be 18 years of age or older to subscribe to the Webteachers.com service. While individuals under the age of 18 may utilize the service, they may do so only with the involvement of a parent or legal guardian. Unless otherwise specified, the content on the Webteachers.com web site is for your personal and non-commercial use and we grant you a limited license to access the Webteachers.com web site for that purpose. You may not download (other than through page caching necessary for personal use), modify, copy, distribute, transmit, display, perform, reproduce, duplicate, publish, license, create derivative works from, or offer for sale any information contained on, or obtained from, the Webteachers.com web site without our express written consent.

Cancellation and Refund Policy
If you would like to cancel your account for any reason please call us at 1 (800) 959-2733 and we will close your account. Any unused time that remains in your account will expire. There are no refunds of any services purchased. However, you may get minutes credited back to your account if you are not satisfied with the quality. If you do have an unsatisfactory session, please let us know about your experience so that we may investigate and hopefully improve our service. We would also like to credit your account for any minutes that may have been subtracted during an unsatisfactory session.
To report an unsatisfactory session you may call us at 1 (800) 959-12733, or you may sign in to your account and use our automated system to send us an email. We will then review the session and credit your account when appropriate. Please remember that our teachers will not give answers to questions! They will only help you understand how you can solve problems for yourself. Accordingly, we do not give credit for sessions in which a student demands that a teacher provide the answer.
